CERTIFICATES

MPS-GAP:

The certification of MPS-GAP is based on the known GLOBAL GAP certificate of supermarket chains in Europe. MPS-GAP is also officially benchmarked against the GLOBAL GAP certificate. It formulates standards for the production, in terms of safety, sustainability and traceability. To qualify for the MPS-GAP certificate, it is recorded how many pesticides are used every day, when equipment has been serviced and how the company is dealing with the cultivation.

MPS-SQ:

The MPS-SQ certificate is based on universal rights of humans and the conduct of local representative organizations. The agreements of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) are included. In practice this means that a company has insight into which employees have a valid license or syringe trained as emergency response officers. The company has an current stock list of pesticides and fertilizers which are checked during an audit of the company.
